Wellness can mean a lot of different things. Wellness can mean finding time to move your body in a fun and energizing way. It can also mean taking time to do fun and engaging activities with people you enjoy. For some, wellness might mean covering the basics of health: scheduling doctors appointments and making time for therapy. And for others, wellness might mean taking time to grow your community. The Global Wellness Institute defines wellness as the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health.
We have compiled a list of free (or mostly free) resources in Nashville that Day 7 members can take advantage of – in whatever way “wellness” works for them.

One of the best ways to expand your wellness routine is by exploring Nashville while getting more attuned with your mind and body connections. Engaging with art can reduce anxiety, boost mood, and promote mindfulness.

In addition to yoga, NPL offers meditation classes for members who want to explore their mind, body, and soul connections without necessarily having to engage in more strenuous physical activities. Meditation offers significant wellness benefits by calming the mind, reducing stress, and improving emotional resilience.

Friday Night Hangs is not a kid friendly group, but if you are looking for a community that is, we highly encourage you search Meet-Up for more kid friendly groups.
