At Day 7, we believe that caring for the caregivers is just as important as the work they do in serving others. Nonprofit and ministry leaders pour themselves out daily—meeting needs, guiding communities, and offering hope. Yet without the right support, the weight of this calling can quickly lead to stress, burnout, and exhaustion. That’s why Day 7 partners with a network of trusted providers who are dedicated to helping these leaders find renewal and balance, both personally and professionally.
Among these providers, our spiritual and ministry partners hold a unique role. They understand the joys and challenges of vocational ministry, offering guidance, encouragement, and a safe space for reflection. Whether through pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, or ministry coaching, these providers walk alongside leaders in their faith journeys, equipping them to serve with resilience and joy. By highlighting their work, we celebrate the vital role they play in restoring and sustaining the hearts of those called to serve.
Exploring Peace Ministries

In the demanding world of ministry, leaders often find themselves pouring out more than they are able to take in. EPM creates sacred space for individuals to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God’s presence in ways that nurture both body and spirit. Deaconess Whitney Simpson’s approach focuses on wellness that is not simply about surviving the work of ministry but thriving in it and embracing your fullest potential.
Exploring Peace Ministries, through Deaconess Whitney Simpson, offers spiritual direction, yoga, meditation, and guided practices, Whitney helps ministry leaders embody their faith and discover peace that reaches beyond the surface. This kind of care is vital for those carrying the weight of others’ needs day after day. By making room for rest, reflection, and renewal, Whitney equips leaders to continue their calling with joy, despite the stresses of the profession.
Selah Center for Spiritual Formation
Dr. Jackie Halstead, founder of the Selah Center for Spiritual Formation, has dedicated her life to helping spiritual leaders reclaim a rhythm of rest, reflection, and connection with God. With decades of experience as both a therapist and a spiritual director, Jackie understands the unique challenges ministry families face and offers a compassionate presence to guide them toward healing and renewal.
Through Selah, Jackie has created a space where leaders can engage deeply in spiritual formation—whether through training in spiritual direction, courses in Christian disciplines, or contemplative practices that invite stillness and prayer. Her work reminds us that sustainable ministry is only possible when leaders themselves are nourished. By equipping them with tools for both personal and relational health, Jackie and Selah Center ensure that those called to serve are strengthened for the journey ahead.

Spradley Spiritual Direction

For many ministry leaders, the journey of faith can feel isolating–full of responsibility yet short on spaces to pause and listen for God’s voice. That’s where the ministry of Scott Spradley comes in. As a seasoned spiritual director, Scott walks alongside his clients as a gentle companion, helping them tune into the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit. His philosophy is simple–the role of the spiritual director is to walk with you as you seek clarity, peace, and direction.
Scott’s ministry creates opportunities for leaders to slow down and connect more deeply with God, whether through one-on-one direction, men’s discernment groups, or unique offerings like Walking as a Spiritual Practice and Breathing Under Water. These gatherings remind participants that faith is not meant to be carried alone but shared in community. By offering safe, prayerful spaces for reflection, Scott helps ministry leaders rediscover God’s presence in their lives and strengthen their ability to serve others with joy and authenticity.
