Join Therapist, Merna ElSols, for Blessed are the Flexible: Achieving Work-Life Balance
Thursday, Sept. 17th, 10-11am
Life is hard. Some days, it is difficult to look past the negativity around us to remember the value behind what we do. When life gets too hard, when work is feeling like more of a burden than a passion, it is important to take a pause and fill our own cups before pouring into others’ lives. Our hope is that, upon completing this workshop, you feel filled to the brim with the knowledge that you are not alone, ready to start every day and every task with a smile and a full heart, leaning into your cup for support.
Merna ElSols grew up in Delta, Egypt and immigrated to the States ten years ago with her family. She fell in love with Tennessee’s weather and the community here in Nashville and has lived here since. She is a Masters level intern at The Refuge Center for Counseling. She is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). Merna has a BA in Psychology from Lipscomb University. Merna uses a person-centered, integrative and systemic approach to help individuals and families increase their emotional expression and enhance their communication styles. She believes that the answers to many of the struggles we go through in life come from within us and that, through effective communication and emotional disclosure, we can build stronger relationships to endure any life hardship we encounter. Merna enjoys many self-care practices including writing, cooking, and volunteering in the community.
